Pool Note: The heated pool is typically available April through October. When temperatures drop below 50 degrees, the pool cannot maintain swimmable temperatures. The covered hot tub remains available year-round.

Our Happy Place
This was our second year staying with Beville Getaways at Smith Mountain Lake, and it has quickly become a tradition we look forward to. Their properties have not disappointed! This year we chose Beacon Pointe and were accompanied by our sons, their wives, and two grandchildren under the age of 19 months. It was such a joy to watch the littles splash and play on the sun shelf of the heated pool. That feature alone made the trip extra special for us. We also rented a pontoon for a few days, and docking it at the house was easy and stress-free; such a perfect spot for boating. The house had everything we could have asked for. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed for meals in, and we loved having so many options for outdoor dining, whether gathered around the table on the deck or sharing dinner down by the boating dock. The spacious layout of the house was a huge blessing too, with plenty of room upstairs and downstairs. It gave us the flexibility to let the littles nap peacefully while the adults enjoyed time together. We also loved having both the grill and the Blackstone for easy cooking, and the paddle boards gave the more adventurous among us a fun way to explore the lake. Beacon Pointe was the perfect mix of relaxation fun, and family time. Thank you, Beville Getaways, for once again providing such a beautiful home where our family could connect unwind and make lasting memories. We're looking forward to next year!

July 2025 Our family has been vacationing at SML for 18 years and Beacon Pointe is one of the premier properties we’ve rented. We selected this property specifically to renew our vows. It was very accommodating for our family of 17 including all of our children & grandchildren. It’s in a great location with a lot of amenities. It is centrally located to Bridgewater marina, the grocery store, two wineries and a golf course. The pool was ideal for a break from the lake. It’s located on a quiet cove and we’d recommend this property for any type of large gathering.

We had a fantastic time at Beacon Pointe! The home was very comfortable and completely stocked with all essentials and extras. The weather was very hot but having the pool and easy access to the lake helped to keep our family cooled. The property managers were super helpful and worked with us at every step of the process. They provided expert suggestions to navigate the Local area
The Family Loved this Place!
Our group of 11 loved this house, the location, and Smith Mountain Lake (our first visit). Bedrooms were perfect for our family. We loved the pool and hot tub. The kids swam in the lake and used the paddle boards and kayak daily. We rented a pontoon boat for two days and had fun touring the beautiful lake and eating at water accessible restaurants. The house was well equipped, clean, and comfortable. Loved the big porch deck. We also marveled at the wildlife around. Lots of deer and fawns in the evenings that the kids (and adults) loved watching.
Perfect Family Lake Home
Our family loved staying on SML for the first time as a family in this beautiful new home. It was in a perfect location. We had 12 people, 6 adults and 6 kids ages 7 to 15. The home is large and well spread out, love that it had 3 king beds. Love having the TVs outside as we had the Olympics on most of the time. The kitchen is large and has everything you need and more. The pantry is large to accommodate all the groceries we had delivered from the local Food Lion. The pool is perfect and most enjoyed swimming in the lake also. We rented the nice large pontoon boat and that was fun, we pulled the kids behind on a towable tube we brought. We ended up having a maintenance issue and Beville properties responded immediately!! We even had the ice cream boat come to our dock and bought ice cream for $1. each!! Love this place and hope to come back!

From Ocean to Lake
We came, all 16, from the Pacific West Coast, Virginia Beach, and Sunset Beach NC. Ages from 8 year to 79….all had a fantastic time. The house and amenities were exceptional. The owner responded quickly to all minor requests. The lake was beautiful. The pool and hot tub just enhanced the overall fun. 4th year Getaway
We are repeat guests with the Beville properties at SML. It's always a wonderful time that our big family looks forward to all year long. Beville provides everything and more in their beautiful and comfortable houses...that easily become our "homes" during our stay. Hunter and Mark always make us feel like we are the only ones they have to look in on each time we reach out. Great vacation and looking forward to a 5th year.

Amazing Family Vacation
We had an amazing time. All of the amenities were amazing especially the pool for the grandchildren and the boat dock for everyone. We rented a boat for the week. The house was stunning and enough room to accommodate our large family.

Family Gathering at Beacon Pointe
This is a beautiful property on a lovely lake setting. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep and gather and eat. Love the outdoor space…..upper and lower covered decks, heated pool, hot tub, and boat dock. Kitchen was very well equipped door a large group. Host was very responsive. And Hunter super friendly and helpful!
